Real Case: Lintel 3×6m (10×20ft) Modular LED Light Box Booth Solution

Time : 2026-09-18

A 3×6m booth offers 18㎡ of space. In the global exhibition and display industry, a 3×6m (10×20ft) booth provides brands, advertising companies, booth rental companies, exhibition service providers, and clients who frequently attend trade shows and commercial events with more space for brand presentation and product display. But what determines its value is not the area, but what the space can be used for. As brands place higher demands on booth visuals, space utilization, setup efficiency, and long-term usage costs, how to combine brand advertising, product display, customer reception, storage, and personalized design within a larger booth, while keeping the booth neat, attractive, eye-catching, and easy to transport, has become an important concern for exhibition service providers and brand clients.

Lintel's 3×6m light box booth system is designed around this need. Based on the globally patented 120mm Modular SEG Light Box System, it uses different angle pieces and connectors to build completely different booth layouts with the same set of frames, including L-shaped, U-shaped, arch, storage room, horizontal long wall, and multi-section partition structures. After the exhibition, the frames can be packed into trolley bags. At the next event, replacing the SEG fabric graphic creates a completely new booth.

120mm Modular SEG Light Box: The Modular Structural Core of the 3×6m Booth

Lintel 120mm Modular Light Box is the core product of the entire 3×6m modular light box booth. The system adopts a 120mm deep frame structure combined with the globally patented Slide-in & Lock Tool-Free Assembly Structure, enabling fast connections through module insertion and locking without relying on complex professional installation tools. The modular SEG light box supports flexible width combinations from 1000mm to 6000mm, with heights up to approximately 3m. Therefore, 3×3m, 3×6m, 6×6m, and even larger backlit booths can use the same modular connection logic.

For a 3×6m (10×20ft) booth, modular construction offers not only more flexible installation but also the same booth hardware with continuous adjustment and repeated-use capabilities. Customers can choose different connection methods according to the exhibition venue, brand content, and functional requirements, creating a display space better suited to the on-site traffic flow and brand image. SEGPRO Standard Accessories truly determine booth shapes. All use snap-in structures for completely tool-free assembly:

Angle pieces determine the direction of light box turns:

90° Angle Connector: Connects two light box backgrounds vertically, creating L-shaped or U-shaped corners.

60° Angle Connector / 45° Angle Connector: Creates angled polygonal booths with a more distinctive visual design.

Connectors determine how light boxes extend horizontally:

Straight Module Assembly: Connects multiple backgrounds into one continuous, seamless long wall.

Arch Gate Connector: Adds a crossbeam between two columns to create a walk-through arch.

Store Room Connector: Encloses light boxes into a closed space, creating a storage room or fitting room.

L/T Connectors, Cross Connectors, and Triangle Connectors: Create internal partitions and multiple display zones.

The same 120mm fabric light boxes, combined with different angle pieces and connectors, can create six distinctly different layouts within 18㎡.

A 3×6m trade show light box booth offers 18㎡ of display space. With proper planning, it can support large-scale brand advertising, product display areas, video playback areas, reception areas, and storage space. Customers can combine different spatial structures according to the booth's open sides and functional planning.

StarQuest (Dance Competition Brand) chose an L-shaped exhibition light box booth structure + light box arch combination. The main backdrop is a continuous gradient wall, transitioning from purple to blue-green. The brand lettering glows against a deep purple light box backdrop. An orange-purple gradient light box arch connects on the right, creating a semi-enclosed entrance with the main wall. A backlit light box counter stands at the front.

This solution deserves attention for its gradient color treatment. Gradients are one of the most challenging image types in printing. Even a slight color difference across the transition can create visible banding. This booth transitions continuously across purple, blue, cyan, green, and orange hues. The transition remains smooth and vivid after the light box is illuminated.

Vectric (CNC Software) used a standard U-shaped SEG light box booth layout. 90° angle connectors on both sides enclose three walls, creating a meeting space visitors can enter. Combined with double-sided SEG fabric graphics, it forms an island-style exhibition booth with 360° brand visibility. The graphic features light gold lines on a white backdrop, which places the highest demands on backlight uniformity. Dark graphics can conceal uneven light sources, while a pure white fabric light box backdrop amplifies every uneven brightness area into visible hotspots. This booth maintains consistent white-backdrop transparency from the front to both side corners.

With 90-degree angle connectors, two or three light box backdrops can connect at corners, forming an L-shaped booth or other display layouts with changing angles. The L-shaped structure creates a clear brand background while preserving a more open entrance and visitor activity space. It suits applications that require brand advertising on one side of the booth and product display or customer reception on the other.

CALCA (Garment Printing Equipment) showcases a horizontal long modular light box wall + light box partition. Three 3×2.5m light boxes connect into one continuous 9m graphic light box wall through straight connectors. An L-shaped connector creates a partition in the middle. The graphic features a large gradient from blue-green to blue-purple, extending across three independent light box frames with continuous color. This requires three fabric pieces printed in the same batch using the same color curve. Any color difference between panels would become visible at the seams.

With straight connectors, LED fabric light box backdrops can extend horizontally to build longer continuous illuminated display walls. For a 3×6m trade show light boxes booth, this combination suits complete brand visuals, product series introductions, corporate promotional content, and large high-definition advertising graphics. Continuous SEG Fabric Graphics help brands establish a unified visual style, making the booth look more organized, professional, and spacious.

Arch structures and storage rooms are the two biggest functional additions of a 3×6m portable LED light box booth compared with a 3×3m modular light box booth. Both depend on dedicated connectors.

MEFE / FREUND (German Slaughtering Equipment) is a case that uses both features extensively. The entire booth consists of a SEG light box storage room connected in sequence with three light box arches, creating a walk-through passage. AA Columns are installed on the arch columns, with shelves and TV holders attached. Visitors do not simply stand outside the aisle and look in. Instead, they walk through the passage, with product information on both sides, maximizing booth space utilization.

With arch gate connectors, customers can combine light box backdrops into booth entrances featuring Arch Gates. The arch structure not only enriches the booth design, but also creates a more recognizable visual area at the entrance or main passage. Brand logos, slogans, and illuminated graphics can be integrated into the arch structure, making brand information easier for visitors to notice as they pass the booth.

A storage room helps customers keep packaging materials, spare promotional materials, product inventory, or staff personal belongings in one place, reducing clutter directly visible in the display area. This improves the booth's overall neatness while allowing the 18㎡ space to support more practical functions.

RGB Frame: Adding Dynamic Visual Expression to the 3×6m Light Box Booth

In addition to traditional LED backlit SEG light boxes, Lintel also offers the Chromix™ 120mm RGB Edge Frame, adding more flexible lighting effects to modular booths.

Lintel's product development and design philosophy follows the concept of modular systems. The Lintel 120mm RGB Edge Frame was developed as an extension of the 120mm modular light box, designed to enrich modular light box booth displays. Therefore, these two products can connect tool-free to create various light box backgrounds and trade show booth structures.

The Columat case demonstrates this approach. The main booth uses a dark blue brand wall with a light box arch, creating a 4×3m light box booth display. A 2×2.5m RGB Light Frame is then connected through the modular system, with a 1×2m RGB Light Frame placed in front. The two frames vary in size and position, creating a layered display. In a dark environment, the entire booth attracts more attention, directing visitors' eyes toward the brand wall at the back. The RGB Edge Frame can also be assembled with SEG Fabric Graphics for brand advertising, expanding the booth's brand display area.

The Chromix™ 120mm RGB Edge Frame uses modular PVC or aluminum frames, supports tool-free assembly, and allows different modules to combine into various sizes. It offers 64 static RGB colors and 8 dynamic lighting modes. A remote control adjusts lighting colors, brightness, and modes. The hidden control box is integrated inside the RGB frame, helping maintain a clean booth appearance.

Combining Brand Advertising and Product Display: Making 18㎡ Booths More Valuable

A professional trade show booth display should not consist only of an attractive backdrop wall. For brands that need product displays, video playback, customer communication, or live demonstrations, the booth must also support practical commercial display functions.

Lintel's 3×6m modular light box booth can combine AA Columns with various retail display accessories, integrating brand promotion and product display into one space. Customers can install functional accessories such as TV Holders, Shelves, Hanging Rods, Pegboards, and Product Display Racks according to product types and display requirements.

TV holders can display brand promotional videos, product demonstrations, and company introductions, making dynamic content part of the booth display. Shelves suit product samples, packaging, and retail merchandise. Hanging rods suit clothing, accessories, and products requiring suspended display. Pegboards allow hooks and display components to be installed flexibly according to product sizes and arrangement requirements.

These functional accessories complement the tension fabric light box backdrops. Large illuminated SEG graphics handle long-distance brand communication, while product display accessories serve close-range product experiences and customer communication. With proper zoning, the booth can accommodate brand backdrops, product displays, video playback, and reception functions without using all available space for a single advertising graphic.

For brands in electronics, consumer goods, jewelry, home products, advertising equipment, and other industries requiring physical product displays, this combination provides more booth design options. Customers can adjust accessory configurations according to product quantities, display heights, and visitor traffic flow, creating a clearer and more organized display space.

Professional Color Proofing: Ensuring Accurate Brand Colors in SEG Fabric Graphics

The visual effect of a light box booth depends not only on its frame and LED lighting. SEG Fabric Graphic printing quality is also an important factor affecting the final display result.

For brands, the color accuracy of logos, brand colors, product images, and promotional graphics directly affects the booth's overall visual identity. Especially in a 3×6m light box booth with a larger display area, graphic color consistency and detail reproduction become even more important. If different graphics show noticeable color differences, or printed colors do not match brand standards, the overall display effect may be affected.

Lintel has professional printing color proofing specialists and assigns dedicated staff to perform color proofing before printing. Through pre-print color inspection and correction, we ensure the final graphics reproduce the customer's approved design as accurately as possible.

Starting with customer-provided brand logos, product images, and promotional designs, the Lintel team can prepare graphics according to actual printing processes and light box backlit display requirements. For booths requiring large high-definition product images, brand gradient backgrounds, or multiple continuous graphics, pre-print color verification helps reduce rework risks caused by color deviations.

For 3×6m modular light box booths, graphics often cover large backdrop areas and may require visual connections between different walls. Therefore, professional color proofing and graphic production processes provide important support for the booth's final presentation.

Lintel provides not only light box frames and LED lighting systems, but also integrates booth 3D modeling, SEG fabric graphic design, dye-sublimation printing, sewing, and finished-product testing. By integrating frame manufacturing and graphic production, customers can receive a more complete light box display solution.

Fast Assembly and Dismantling: Reducing Booth Setup Time and Labor Coordination Pressure

For exhibition service providers and booth rental companies, installation efficiency directly affects project execution costs and on-site work arrangements.

Lintel's 120mm modular light box system uses a globally patented tool-free assembly structure. Frame components can be installed through corresponding connection structures without complex professional installation tools. The modular design helps installation teams reduce certain on-site construction steps and complete frame assembly according to product numbers and installation plans.

Lintel's SEGPRO Light Box Booth page states that the reference assembly time for a 3×6m light box booth is approximately one hour with two people.

For customers who frequently assemble and dismantle booths, a modular tool-free structure offers a more flexible working method. The booth can be assembled, dismantled, and repacked according to event schedules, reducing dependence on complex construction equipment. For rental companies, standardized frames and accessories also help establish clearer installation procedures, making repeated use across different projects easier.

In addition, Lintel's modular light box products come with trolley Oxford bags. The compact size can be placed in a car trunk for incubation, making dismantled frames easier to store and move. Through proper packaging and transport planning, customers can more conveniently deliver display systems to different exhibition venues and event locations.

Portable Packaging and Reusability: Supporting Long-Term Exhibition Projects

An excellent modular light box booth should not only perform well at the exhibition, but also remain convenient during transportation, storage, and the next use.

An 18㎡ traditional wooden booth requires truck transportation and warehouse storage, while most materials become waste after the exhibition. A modular light box booth can be dismantled into several trolley bags. Customers attending exhibitions in different cities can carry it themselves, while international exhibition transportation costs and volume can be significantly reduced.

The frame is available in UL94 V-0 flame-retardant PVC or aluminum profiles. All retail accessories are durable, reusable components. LED strips have a rated lifespan of more than 50,000 hours. The only element that truly changes with the exhibition theme is the SEG fabric. For the next exhibition, print a new fabric, remove the old one, and insert the new one. The same hardware becomes a completely different booth.

This means customers do not need to purchase a complete display structure from scratch every time. Instead, they can create new display effects for different exhibitions through graphic updates and module reconfiguration. For businesses that conduct ongoing brand promotion, product launches, and commercial events, this adjustable display method supports more continuous booth planning.
